For two decades, Clinton Smith has been regarded as one of the design industry’s thought leaders and noted authorities on matters of taste and style. Clinton founded his eponymous design studio with the goal of championing and celebrating the art of living well.
Clinton is a respected editor and writer who has authored four books on an array of lifestyle matters, including elegant entertaining, decorating with color, outdoor design, and living with flowers, and he currently serves as the Editor at Large for New England Home.
“For this collection, it was really important to bridge past and present and create pieces that can serve more than one purpose and, sometimes, defy categorization. Some designs have European influences, while others feature motifs from locales farther afield. I’ve tried to distill a lifetime of travel inspiration into pieces that would be just as at home in a grand Palm Beach estate, a farm in South Georgia, or a New York City pied-a-terre.”
